>> disp('Hello world');

Here you will find a few pages on the research that I am doing at UCLA. I am currently working on problems in communication theory and experimental radio communications. My focus is on the following topics:
  • Channel estimation and feedback for MIMO communications.
  • Capacity preserving MIMO antenna arrays.
  • Directional radio communications for sensor networks.
My work emphasizes the practical implementation of theory. I have been involved in developing two software defined radio testbeds to support my efforts:
  • A 4x4 wideband MIMO testbed.
  • A portable radio testbed with actuated directional antenna.
My work is advised by Dr. Michael Fitz and I have fruitful collaborations with Prof. Rahmat-Samii's Antenna Group and Prof. William Kaiser group at CENS.
