March 2008       The paper entitled "CMP Network-on-Chip Overlaid With Multi-Band RF-Interconnect" that was submitted to the IEEE HPCA Symposium was recognized as the best paper. February 2008       Professor Chang has been elected into the National Academy of Engineering! Professor Chang, along with two other faculty members in UCLA Engineering, were elected into the 2008 Class. You can read more about it here. In addition, the HSEL has recently published/will publish papers at ISSCC, RFIC, and MTT. The topics of these papers include the 324GHz VCO, 60GHz PA, Sub-harmonic injection locked VCO's, and our Digitally Controlled Artificial Dielectric (aka DiCAD).
