About me:

I am a third year PhD student at the Electrical Engineering Department at UCLA in the area of Control Systems. My supervisor is Professor Paulo Tabuada with whom I am currently working on Distributed Event-Triggered Control.

Previous locations:

After my double graduation at UPM and KTH in March 2003 and until April 2004, I worked as teaching assistant and assistant researcher at the Control Systems-S3 and OptSys-Math divisions at KTH. My research at KTH was performed together with Professors Karl H. Johansson (who also was my MSc Thesis supervisor) and Xiaoming Hu in Cooperative Robotics.
I also spent some months (Sept 2004-January 2005) at DISAM-UPM working in the project PLATEL, involved in the development of the Motion System of a Vehicle Simulator.
And from February 2005 till September 2005 I was a teaching assistant and performed research on Hybrid Systems Identification at the CSDC of The University of Newcastle, with a Research Scholarship. My supervisor there was Dr. James Welsh

Research Interests: cooperative robotics, hybrid control, distributed estimation and control, applied functional analysis.

My CV with more details can be found here in pdf format (not updated since September 2006, sorry).
