(Formerly numbered 164BL.) Lecture, one hour; laboratory, two hours; outside study, three hours. Requisite: course 161. Microwave integrated circuit design from a wireless system perspective, with focus on (1) use of microwave circuit simulation tools, (2) design of wireless frontend circuits including low noise amplifier, mixer, and power amplifier, (3) knowledge and skills required in wireless integrated circuit characterization and implementation.
