Kickoff Meeting Information
The kickoff meeting for the DoD Quantum Communication and Quantum Memory Initiative
(QCQMI) will be held on June 13-14, 2000 at the Army Communications and Electronics Command (CECOM) located in
Ft. Monmouth, NJ. The 5-year, 4-university, 3-center initiative is sponsored by
the Army Research Office, DDR&E, and DARPA.
The first day will include a formal introduction of the centers' proposed
projects and the DoD's related activities. The second day will feature
roundtable discussions among the three centers and is optional for attendees not
directly involved in one of the three centers.
This invitation is open to anyone who may have any interest in this initiative. The invitation is
also open to any employee of the Federal Government. Attendance by non-civil servants outside the
three centers is restricted to those specifically invited by or approved by
Henry Everitt, his assistant Carolyn Wolfe, or the co-sponsor Stuart Wolf of
DARPA.
