Biography

Jin Hyung Lee received her B.S. degree from the department of Electrical Engineering at Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea in 1998, and her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the department of Electrical Engineering at Stanford University in 2000 and 2004, respectively. She then worked as a postdoctoral Research Associate at the Stanford University’s Magnetic Resonance Research Systems Laboratory (MRSRL). Recently, her work was recognized with a K99/R00 NIH pathway to independence research grant (2008-2012). As a scientist, she is most thrilled in narrowing the gap between the engineering and translational aspects of biomedical imaging.

Research Interests

Neural information processing and plasticity; Advanced imaging techniques for biomedical applications, neurosciences and neural-engineering; Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI); Development of novel image contrast strategies; Alternative image acquisition, reconstruction, and processing techniques.
