Luyao Xu wins Best Student Presentation Award at Photonics West

Professor Ben Williams’ student, Luyao Xu, won the Best Student Presentation Award in the VECSEL sub-conference at SPIE Photonics West in San Fransisco. Her paper was entitled  “Terahertz quantum cascade VECSEL“; Luyao Xu, Christopher A. Curwen, Philip W. C. Hon, Tatsuo Itoh, Benjamin S.
