DOE Awards Supercomputer Access to Cutting-Edge Projects
December 2008
The allocations of supercomputing and data storage resources will be made under DOE's Innovative and Novel Computational Impact on Theory and Experiment (INCITE) program, which supports computationally intensive, large-scale research projects. Two projects under Professor Warren Mori will be renewed for INCITE 2009. "Petascale Particle-in-Cell Simulations of Plasma Based Accelerators" (PI) and "Three-Dimensional Particle-in-Cell Simulations of Fast Ignition" (co-PI).
