Biography

Professor Streit received his Ph.D. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering at University of California, Los Angeles, in 1986 and 1983, respectively; he received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Chemistry at California State University, Los Angeles, in 1980.

 

Research Interest

Professor Streit's research covers the broad area of solid state materials and electronics, which includes the following: 

  • Electronic and optical materials 
  • Semiconductor fabrication and characterization 
  • Electrical and optical device design and modeling 
  • Device and circuit processing 
  • Microwave and millimeter-wave circuits 
  • High-speed digital and mixed-signal circuits 
  • Advanced packaging 
  • Radar and communication systems
