Biography

Dr. Babaie received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 1980. He has a B.S. and an M.S. in Mathematics from Tehran University, Iran, and an Aircraft Maintenance Teaching Certificate from ICAO. His areas of interest and research are in Analog, Microwave and High Frequency Circuits. He has been teaching in the Electrical Engineering Department at UCLA for 25 years, where he is a full time Senior Lecturer in the department. Dr. Babaie received the Electrical Engineering Department Teaching Award (2001/2002) from UCLA, as well as several other awards from other universities.
