Professor Tatsuo Itoh of the Electrical Engineering Department has been named recipient of the 2018 IEEE Electromagnetics Award for outstanding contributions to electromagnetics in theory, application, or education, with the following citation: “For contributions to electromagnetic modelling, artificial materials, microwave electronics, and antennas.”
