I received the Bachelors of Science degree in the Electrical Engineering from the University of Tehran, Iran in 1999. I finished my Masters of Science degree in the field of Embedded Computing Systems in the Electrical Engineering Department, UCLA in 2002. Currently I am doing my Ph.D. in Embedded Computing Systems in the EE department at UCLA. My research interests are in the area of Domain Specific Processors and Coprocessors. Mainly, I work in the cryptographic domain. I am interested in the different implementations of both secret-key and public-key encryption algorithms. I am working in the IVGroup under supervision of professor Ingrid Verbauwhede.
