DEVELOP Intern, 6/06-9/2006

  • Participated in a student-run, student-led NASA scientific research group in central Nevada.
  • Used NASA satellite imagery and computer analysis to find statistical correlation between various fire factors of previous wildfires located in Nevada.
  • The results were published and presented at the 2006 Joint Workshop on NASA Biodiversity.

  • Published and presented a scientific research paper at the American Geophysical Union in 2005 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, CA.
  • Used NASA satellite imagery to map specific plant locations and densities in Utah.
