- Working on the development of modems for a variety of UMTS/HSPA+ and
CDMA phone systems. Interference Cancellation, RF impairment mitigation,
Diversity algorithm development, architecture studies etc.

January 2003 - January 2005: R&D Systems Engineer, Applied Wave Research,
Inc., El Segundo, California.
- Worked on the development of a Complex Envelope systems simulator,
called VSS (part of the more well-known software Microwave Office) and
in particular designed high level (systems) models for amplifiers, mixers,
VCOs, PLLs, etc. as well as measurements for wireless standards
(ACPR, EVM, etc.).

July 2001 - November 2002: Staff Scientist, Broadcom Corp.,
El Segundo, California.
- Worked on system design & simulation of integrated transceivers
for wireless LANs and other applications.

November 2000-June 2001: Member of Technical Staff, KimaLink Corp.,
El Segundo, California.
- Worked on the design & measurement of RF components
for high-performance ICs, mainly inductors.

1997-November 2000: Research Assistant at UCLA, Los Angeles, California.
- Worked on Kalman filter tracking and equalization of MIMO systems
in frequency-selective fading channels.
- Worked on the design of Joint Data & Channel
Estimation algorithms, with little or no use of pilot symbols,
for turbo-codes in wireless (specifically Correlated Rayleigh) Channels.
- Worked in the areas of Constellation Labelling and Coding for Periodic
Gaussian Channels.

Summer 1997: Three month summer Internship, at Texas Instruments, Dallas, Texas.
- Worked on the design of the AGC for the front end of a digital
receiver for Wideband CDMA.
- Developed methods for efficient simulation
of the Rayleigh Fading Channel, using SPW.
