Research in the Image Communications Laboratory concerns coding and communications. While the emphasis is on applied research, we are also studying a number of issues of theoretical importance. Current areas of research include sensor networks, low-power communications algorithm design, network modeling, non-volatile memory, source coding, and communications receiver design. The lab currently comprises approximately 7 students at the Ph.D. and Masters levels. |
