BIOGRAPHY

My home 

Jitkomut was born and raised in Nakhon Sawan, a city in the northern part of Thailand. Spending her childhoood in a jungle with a grasshoper as her best friend, she then moved to Bangkok for the first time when turning 15. She went to Triam Udom Suksa high school in Bangkok in 1994 and graduated in 1996. She got admitted to Chulalongkorn University (CU), Electrical Engineering and finished B.Eng degree in 1999. She then continued in grad school with the same major and graduated in 2002. Her career started in 2003 and ended so quickly in two years, as she realized how mediocre life she had during the time. She then decided to pursue a PhD degree in the States with a financial support from the Thai government. She is currently working with Prof. Lieven Vandenberghe at UCLA.
