John was born and raised in Culver City, CA and went to college at Berkeley. He graduated in 2003, and California for Boston, MA and worked at Raytheon writing algorithms for radars. After building several snowmen and helping the Red Sox win the world series, he returned to school at UCLA in 2005, where he is studying for his doctorate.
In his free time he enjoys reading and multitude of activities, which include sports, surfing, go-karting and cooking. His list of favorites include: fresh snow, build your own taco salad day, and riding his bicycle down hills.
