I am currently pursuing PHD at the Electrical Engineering Department at University of California, Los Angeles. I am working as a Graduate Student researcher at Network and Embedded Systems Lab under the guidance of Prof. Mani Srivastava. My research interests are in wireless communications and networking. Currently my research focus is on the security aspects of sensor networks. I have been involved in lead role or as substantive collaborator in several sensor network projects: topology management for energy-latency-density-accuracy trade-offs, localized and distributed approaches to estimation of aggregate functions, energy-efficient radio packet scheduling, multidimensional design perspective and more recently light weight ad hoc timing synchronization which I have implemented on Berkeley's Motes.
I received B.tech and M.tech degree in the field of communication and signal processing from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, India in 2001.At IITB, I was working under the guidance of Prof. Abhay Karandikar in Electrical Engineering Department.
