Background

I graduated from UCSD in 1993 with a B.S. degree in Bioengineering. As an undergrad, I worked in the Microcirculation Lab under Dr. Geert Schmid-Schoenbein and the Cartilage Mechanics Lab under Dr. Robert Sah.

In 1994, I began graduate studies at UCLA in EE - Signal Processing. I just recently completed my M.S. degree and have begun working towards a PhD. While at UCLA, my research interests have been in developing auditory models to predict the perception of speech in noise.
