Professor Subramanian S Iyer, Distinguished Professor and Director of UCLA CHIPS, visited Multibeam in Sunnyvale on July 23 for the launch of the company’s new headquarters and its latest technology. The event celebrated Multibeam’s first sale of an 18-column multibeam electron-beam writer with 30 nm resolution to a customer in Taiwan. During the visit, Iyer met semiconductor industry pioneer and Multibeam founder David Lam, who recognized UCLA CHIPS and its work during his welcome remarks. The visit highlighted UCLA CHIPS’ continued engagement with industry and emerging semiconductor manufacturing technologies.
