UCLA ECE to organize the 2019 Infrared Terahertz Quantum Workshop – Abstract Submission Deadline 04/15/19

The UCLA Electrical and Computer Engineering Department will organize and host the 2019 Infrared Terahertz Quantum Workshop (ITQW) to be held in Ojai, CA from September 15-20, 2019. Prof. Benjamin Williams is the General Chair. ITQW is a single-track, workshop style conference, with a broadly defined theme of the exploration of novel physical phenomena in quantum- and electromagnetically-engineered photonic materials in the infrared and terahertz spectral range, and the exploitation of these phenomena to create novel optoelectronic devices and applications. ITQW, formerly known as Intersubband Transitions in Quantum Wells, has been held every other year since 1991, and has been one of the premier conferences in the field of physics, materials, and devices in the mid-infrared and terahertz.

The conference is currently accepting abstracts, with a due date of April 15, 2019.
