Anastasios Papathanasopoulos was awarded the Future Investigator in NASA Earth and Space Science and Technology (FINESST) research grant ($90,000 in total) for the second consecutive year for his work “Novel Metamaterial Inhomogeneous Lens Antennas for Next-Generation Spaceborne Wind Scatterometer Weather Radar Satellites”. Anastasios Papathanasopoulos is currently pursuing a Ph.D. under the supervision of Prof. Yahya Rahmat-Samii in the Antenna Research, Analysis, and Measurement Laboratory.
