Distinguished Adjunct Professor Asad M. Madni awarded the J. J. Thomson Medal from the Institution of Engineering & Technology (UK)

The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), United Kingdom, has awarded Distinguished Adjunct Professor Asad M. Madni its 2015 J.J. Thomson (prestige) Medal. The medal was inaugurated in 1976 and is awarded to an individual who has made major and distinguished contributions in electronics. Professor Madni “has been honoured for his distinguished career, spanning four decades, which has produced seminal contributions to the development and commercialisation of “intelligent” sensors, systems, instrumentation and signal processing”. The official conferring of the medal will take place on November 18, 2015 in London England during the IET Achievement Awards Ceremony.
