Distinguished Prof. Yahya Rahmat-Samii’s paper entitled; “Enablaing CubeSat of Things (IoT) with CubeSats – A Review of representative Beamsteerable Antennas” appeared on the cover page of the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society Magazine with nearly 20,000 circulations.

The cover page of the magazine featured the topic of this paper, Vol. 63, No. 6, December 2021. This paper is co-authored with Prof. Rahmat-Samii’s current PhD student, Junbo Wang, and former PhD student, Dr. Vignesh Manohar. The 15-page paper, all in color, covers Prof. Rahmat-Samii’s research on the subject of CubeSat antennas for diverse applications including Internet of Things (IoT).

The Magazine Editor writes, “The article presents a comprehensive review of beamsteerable antennas with a focus on cubesat applications. After reviewing the fundamental concepts of beamsteering, the article analyzes both mechanically and electronically steerable antennas designs, providing analyses and comparisons of the contributions in literature.”
