Biography:

Dr. Richard Liu founded LEAP.ai, a professional development platform to help students and young professionals discover amazing opportunities while learning about their own passions and abilities.

As a long time tech exec at Google, Richard was a key leader of a number of Google businesses, including Enterprise Search, Shopping, Offers and Project Fi. It was here that he became deeply aware of how hard it is to both attract and develop talented young people. As an investing partner with TEEC Angel Fund, he regularly puts his money where his heart is – supporting early stage companies solving the world’s most intractable problems.

Richard holds a PhD in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Florida, a master’s in automation from Tsinghua University in Beijing and an MBA from Southern Methodist University.
