Prof. Chui & Ph.D. Student, Ablaikhan Akhazhanov, have cover published on ACS Sensors

ECE Ph.D. Candidate Ablaikhan Akhazhanov and his advisor Prof. Chi On Chui have published an ACS Sensors paper titled “On Modeling Diversity in Electrical Cellular Response: Data-Driven Approach” which is highlighted as the Supplementary Cover.

Diversity in electrical cellular response is fundamental to many biomedical studies that involve exposure to electric and magnetic fields. The proposed data-driven model is based on empirical evidence collected in the last 60 years. A three-dimensional geometry generation method accurately depicts inherent cell shapes and enables realistic simulations.
