UCLA HiLab receives honorable mention award at top Human-Computer Interaction conference

The UCLA Human-Centered Computing and Intelligent Sensing Lab (HiLab) received an honorable mention award at the ACM Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems, the top international conference in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI).

Third year PhD student Siyou Pei was the lead author of the award-winning paper, receiving honors for research in interaction technology for Augmented and Virtual Reality. Pei is advised by HiLab director and assistant professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering Yang Zhang.

The 2022 ACM Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems honorable mentions were awarded to the top 5% of over 3,000 submissions. This year’s conference will be held from April 30 to May 5 in New Orleans, Louisiana.
