UCLA IEEE Workshops has a new set of workshops planned this spring quarter. The workshops lined up are “Intro to Linux Commands” (useful for CS31/32/33), “Intro to Serial Communications” (create your own tilt based IMU controlled game), and an “Intro to Machine Learning” (create a gesture recognition model using an IMU)! The Intro to Serial Communications & Machine Learning workshops require you to have your own IMU and Arduino Nano, so be on the lookout for a link to RSVP to that workshop. The workshops will be recorded and posted on the UCLA IEEE Youtube channel.
