UCLA joins Texas A&M, Rice, & Florida Int’l to focus on care for people with diabetes and cardiovascular disease.

As part of a recently announced NSF Engineering Research Center (ERC), UCLA is joining forces with Texas A&M University, Rice University and Florida International University to develop technologies for diabetes and cardiovascular disease, two of the leading causes of death in low-income communities. The UCLA effort will be led by Professors Aydogan Ozcan, Dino Di Carlo and Omai Garner.
