Interested in joining your fellow UCLA students in combating student housing insecurity?
Bruin Shelter, a shelter for college students experiencing housing insecurity, is recruiting for new volunteers this winter quarter! While we are in a transitional period and overnight shift positions are not currently available, volunteers will have the opportunity to contribute to our amazing community projects through committee and advocacy work that seek to educate and combat housing insecurity in Los Angeles. Some of our current projects include research on college student housing insecurity, food sustainability mutual aid events at UCLA and within the broader LA community, and creating podcast episodes on diverse groups facing housing insecurity. Our second info session is in-person on 1/23 @ 6PM in Math Sci 5128! Applications are due on Friday, January 26th at 11:59 pm (tinyurl.com/bruinshelterwinter24).
