Prof. Alan Laub named Fellow of the Society for Industrial and Applied Math for 2016

Electrical Engineering Professor Alan Laub has been selected as a Fellow of the Society for Industrial and Applied Math for 2016. Professor Laub also has a joint appointment with the UCLA Department of Mathematics. He was selected as one of 30 new fellows of the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) for his contributions to the numerical solution of problems in control and filtering.
