The editor of the “Young Professionals” column of the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Magazine invited Distinguished Professor Yahya Rahmat-Samii to write an article: “15 Career Life Lessons for Young Professionals — Reflections after 50+ years”, IEEE Antennas and Propagation Magazine, Vol. 66, No. 1. pp. 91-98, February, 2024.
Distinguished Chancellor’s Professor Subramanian Iyer to speak at GOMACTech 2024 Conference, March 18-21, 2024 Charleston, South Carolina
Distinguished Chancellor’s Professor Subramanian Iyer, presently leading as the director of the National Advanced Packaging Manufacturing Program (on assignment from UCLA) will be giving a talk at GOMACTech. This talk will offer a roadmap for advanced packaging (that was funded by NIST) and a strategic vision of how the NAPMP will implement this roadmap in a manner that allows for the introduction of on-shore manufacturing of advanced packaging and true heterogeneous integration, in not just the high-performance and low-power arenas, but also in the all-important application of medical electronics.
