Pradyumna Chari, Prof. Kadambi’s student, receives the President of India Gold Medal from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras

The President of India Medal is conferred in recognition of excellent academic performance, to the student with the highest Cumulative Grade Point Average among the batch of undergraduate students. Pradyumna also received the Bharat Ratna M Visvesvaraya Memorial Prize and the Siemens Prize, in recognition of his academic performance over the course of his B.Tech degree. On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, these awards were conferred in the presence of the Indian Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi.
